i was just wondering what buns best a low parted one or a high one what do you think ?
also what are some cool things you can do to make your hair look cool for ballet ?

back streches for arabesque

Hi i ive just started to do arabesques and i get a real sore back after and in arabesque i understand this is meant to be normal it gets less painful when youre back is more flexible from streches
but what are some streches if anybody knows
some that would be so cool thanks heaps

Finding pointe difficult

Hi
Has any got any avice for my 12 yr old she has just started pointe class, but is finding it difficult to get up on pointe on her left leg without bending her right leg, I am not not exactly sure what she means as the only ballet experience I have is from watching my daughter, she says that not matter how hard she tries, if she cannot do it and she getting upset by this as friends that started pointe at the same time can all achieve what the teacher is asking,

I have been thinking about adding an actual forum section to this site. Kaat also suggested it might be a good option. I think it would make the community here a lot stronger. The blog has been working well but it is not really designed to be used as a forum.

Question about toe pads and stockings….

Does it really matter whether or not you buy the stockings with the holes on the bottom when you’re using gel pads?….
