Discover the Secrets to Conquering Some of The Most Common Pitfalls You Face When Learning Ballet
Ballet Bible Customer ReviewI was fortunate enough to meet one of my long time customers at the Sydney Groove Dance Expo. I don’t get to actually meet most of my customers in person so it was a real treat for me when Tamara and her teacher Jennie came up to our stand and introduced themselves. I have had a testimonial from Tamara on my site for ages so it was super cool to actually be talking with her face to face. Jennie (JenSue Dancers) did a quick video for me and sent it to me just recently. Take a look below.

March 30, 2010 | In Videos | 1 Comment The Silent TalismanThis video is one dancer’s interpretation of “The Talisman”. This ballerina is performing for a crowd at a decently big ballet. The ballerina is a young Caucasian and demonstrates this dance beautifully. The music cannot be heard in this video, so it does not seem as moving to the viewers, but the girl still dances very beautifully. Most comments are fairly positive, but there will always be people out there who will criticize quickly. There is about one comment a month on this video. This video started becoming popular around the end of 2007 when it was referred as being related to Romeo and Juliet. Once it was referred by www.owaki.mmcgi.com, its ratings started to soar. That was on July 28, 2008. This video has had only about 62,900 views even though it has been online since 2006. I would blame this on the lack of music accompanying this piece. For what is ballet without the music to move the dancers? 276 people call this video a favorite, even though only 42 have commented. It has a rating of 86 with an average rating of 4.64. This video is mostly viewed by teenage girls from the age of 13 through 17. Most views are from the United States, Brazil, and some other small, island countries. I enjoyed this video, I thought the ballerina was beautiful and did an astounding job and the comments prove that this is true, even without an audible musical accompaniment. March 28, 2010 | In Videos | No Comments The Beautiful Ballet Scheherazade part 1 of 2The video Ballet Scheherazade part 1 is part one of two videos of the Ballet Scheherazade. The Marlinksly principal dancers, Igor Kolb and Jiyeon Ryu, are both shown in this video and are the only dancers in this part of the show. This ballet looks to be filmed on some form of a stage, as in a real performance, but the actual name of the theater though is not mentioned. Gaining a little over 180,000 views, most of which are from the United States and Japan. This video seems to be more popular with a wider age range of males than females. Male ages 45-64 have watched this video while the female age range is 45-54. Most of the views that this video has received have been from the following search terms (in order of popularity): ballet, Rimsky-Korsakov. Scheherazade, Rimsky-Korsakov – Scheherazade (1/5), Scheherazade. All of these terms are from searches completed on youtube. This video has gradually became popular since its first posting on February 18, 2007. Its popularity was not sudden, and its popularity curve is steady and gradual. This video, along with its 180,000 views also has around 290 ratings. Its average rating is 5 stars. I think that this rating is high because the video is beautiful. The dancing is exquisite and the cinematography allows the viewer to watch the video as if they are in the front row of the theater. Most of the comments on this video are very positive. Everyone seemed to love the dancing and most commented about the music in the video and how wonderful it fit the dancing. Very few comments are negative. People tend to comment on average about once per week. One of my favorite comments on this video was probably by ivonne10100 and it said “magnificent music!!! i think it depicts beautifully the arabian world..and igor kolb is just fantastic”. I thought that this comment was beautiful and it showed just how inspirational this video truly was to some people. I think that someone who is very into dancing and especially into ballet would very much enjoy this video. I think that anyone that is in the age group of 20-40 would probably find this video enjoyable if they also had a background in dance. They could easily gain more knowledge on the dancing world and more knowledge on music that is used in the dancing world. March 27, 2010 | In Videos | 1 Comment This is what is called positive attitudeIt is an amazing ballet dance and the dance is performed in such a way that it is hard to say the performers have deformities. As the girl has only one hand the boy has only one limb still they performed the ballet in such a beautiful and professional manner it is really hard to believe. Till now 148,600 people has watched this video. This video is most popular in U.S.A. The video is most popular with the females of age group 13-17 and 45-54 and with males of the age group 45-54. This video has obtained most of the views from YouTube with approximately 16,000 views. The data about this link is available only since November, 2007 and in December, 2007 only it got approximately 20,000 views so the popularity was sudden and it was made possible by search engines and YouTube search is one of the main contributors. The rating for this video is 315 and the average rating for this video is 4.87. The rating is high because the performance of the ballet artists was appreciable even after deformities the artists were having. Though the video was posted on December, 2007 still it is getting one view every month and most of the comments are positive and favorable and there is as such any specific comment which spurred controversy. There are two comments which I like most the first one is by Zhimoa which says “Tears came down my eyes when I saw this.. Truly amazing!!!” and the second one is not that creative but in simple words by ge2tokid “Nothing is impossible”. In my view people with a positive attitude will enjoy this video and those who know ballet knows how hard it is to perform with perfection especially when the ballet artists were having deformities that are the reason I am very much impressed with both of the artists. Ballet Stetching A How-To DemonstrationThis video is a how-to video. It shows how to properly stretch your body before you perform ballet dancing. This video takes place in a dance studio. This video has 186,400 views. This video is most popular with teenage girls in the United States. I can understand why this video would be appealing to girls of the age from 13 to 17 because it is slightly primitive, but easy to understand and very informative. This video was viewed from links from “Ballet. Tiny Dancer” “Ballet: Dancer”. From You Tube this video was found through searching “ballet” and “ballet dancing. This video starting becoming increasingly popular at the beginning of 2009. The average rating is 4.13 and 681 people call this tutorial a favorite. The real rating for this video is about 330. I think that these numbers are slightly high due to the fact that you are unable to clearly view the movements of the instructor because there are words of instruction in the way. I do think that this video is very informative if a person already knows how to do these stretches and only needs assistance to know how long and how far to stretch each part of their bodies prior to performing ballet. Many comments are negative toward the instructor’s technique of doing the splits. There was much controversy on this topic because several people recognize that the instructor was simply demonstrating the technique to be used.
