Free Ballet Guides

The launch of onlinedance has been a great success.

I am so happy with the response from my loyal readers and subscribers that I have decided to create some free downloadable mini-guides for you as a thankyou for being a part of balletinfo.com and the new onlinedance.

While thinking about what would make a great guide I thought… Why not just ask you what you would like to see.

So, simply add your comments to this post on what you would like to see in a mini-guide for ballet.

I look forward to reading your requests.

Thanks
Anita

  1. Dear Anita
Thank you very much for creating this ballet site. It is so good & helpful.
Am doing adult beginner ballet, would like advice on:

How to strengthen ankle & improve foot arches?
How & where can I get the “ballet foot stretcher”?
Advice on how to improve pirouette?
any special advice on how to not get dizzy (apart from spotting)?

    many thanks
    Sharon

  4. Thanks Anita!
I really enjoy your web site and am able to get some great advice.
As a 24 yr old beginner, I would like to excel as quickly as possible. I would like to see some stretches, exercises, and maybe even routines. I am looking to increase my turn out, keep my heels from turning back in a releve position, and gain strength and flexibility for pointe.
Thanks for all that you do Anita!

  6. What an exciting surprise, Anita!
I would like some flexibility and stretching tips. I’m always trying to be more and more flexible, especially in my stomach, back, & thighs.

Thank you! I’m anticipating your mini-guides!

  9. Thank you Thank you Thank you! As a 27 year old mother of two (3 years and 18months), I am extremely interested into getting back into ballet. I danced for 12 years when I was younger and miss the movements, the flexibility, the PASSION of it. I am looking forward to getting as much out of your site as I can. Thanks again, and please, let me know whenever new info is available!
