  1. take as much time as you need to get everything up properly, a half down site would be like dancing in broken shoes.

  2. I stumbled across this site looking for helpful tips for my daughter. I’m so glad I found it. Thank you for coming up with this. I’ve already found some info here that will help her (specifically - she wants to work on getting way down on her splits.)
    I’ve bookmarked this site and will refer to it frequently.

  3. ive been dancing for 9 years and i dont have pointe shoes do you think i could just buy them and train myself i know the proper tecniques and how to fit a shoe.

    But if you look in the archives, I guess you’ll find the answer to your question there.
    Almost everyone on the message board will tell you NOT to try point work on your own…
