It depends on the shoe. If you go to the maker’s website it will tell you how to break them in.

My teacher recommends *Walking around in them in the house with socks covering them outside to protect them from dirt (watch out on lino or wood , socks are slippery!) for a few hours at home. *Lots of rises into demi.

my teacher recommends to sleep in them! as it moulds to the shape of your foot whilst you are sleepin, as your feet are relaxed.

i tried closing the box in a door henge my teacher said not to but i did because i had been trting to break in my shoes for months…and it worked she never found out but she is glad that they are now broken in. In my opinion try what sounds sensable cause other wise you could really screw up your shoes and there expensive!!

how do i break in my pointe shoes so that they have a good arch in them but also because i have a V vamp and its veryhard to work with

i have a really high instep and find it hard to get over my feet when on pointe what should i do ?
