hey! dont sweat. i had my first ballet exam last year and i was so nervous! i was 14 at the time and didnt know what to expect! just make sure you know your stuff back to front. dont just do the dance, perform it with facial expressions, showing that you understand the mood of the dance! For me, as soon as i started performing, all the fear just disappeared! hopefully you wil be the same! think about your posture and corrections that your teacher has given you. and remember, enjoy yourself!! dont build the stress up and do something that relaxes you the night before! then you will wake up refreshed and ready in the morning! good luck! xxxxxxxx

Forgot to tell you how to keep calm. xP To keep calm, you just have to practice and feel as if you can do your routines backwards. Don't actually do the routines backwards, but you must feel confident enough. Otherwise, bring a book, read, stretch, etc.

Hi there! I remember my first Ballet exam - so stressful. But you'll be fine, I was. I went out with a High Disctinction. You just need to practice lots and perform with poise and style.
Anyways. Strenghtening ankles. I find that if you hold a rellevais (rell-ooh-vay - I can't spell it. xD) for 30 seconds in each position - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and maintaining a perfect line between your legs and your toes - no sickling! - then your ankle strength will improve. Otherwise, therabands work great. =) Good luck!

My advise to u is that you go for a walk on the morning of the exsam .. and then have a little strech (Nothin to intess .. Hamsring ect.) And then when you get there you can do your big one .. But dont forget to warm up before!!!! Or else you will come out really mega sore!! Belive me!! lol, good luck ..
