Not sure what you were raising yourself with but you should build up your calves, definately. Not that you will rely on them once you get better training, but they help lift you. You may want to practice calf raises in front of the mirror with feet parallel to each other. If one or both of your ankles appears to "roll out" to the side, try adjusting this and do the calf raises again:)

Do NOT attempt pointe without proper instruction or gear.

Apparently, you love dance enough to try this and post on "utube". Keep it up!! I KNOW how long it takes to become decent but that is the wonderful thing about ballet. You will constantly learn throughout life and only become better! Best of luck to you!

DO NOT GO EN PONTE WITHOUT POINTE SHOES ON!!!!! You could really hurt yourself!!!! Also, it looked like you were leaning againist something and putting all your weight on it. MAJOR sickling in tendue. But if you work on the sickling, it would look nice.

it's very hard to tell as you weren't actually en pointe, but i think that you should just wait until your teacher thinks youre ready. trust their advice!! would you rather wait and train properly and become a fantastic dancer, or go en pointe soon and break your ankle by lack of ankle strenght and end your carrer? im your age and i face the same problem, but i think it will be worth the wait!! good luck with your dancing.

You should not be going en pointe, it looks like you have all your weight on something like a barre but untill a qualified teacher tells you that you are ready you shouldn't even be thinking about pointe, especially without pointe shoes.

It's hard to tell much from this video, you'd be better off posting one where we can see your whole body or at least your whole legs, and where your doing a real excercise like you do in class, but heres what I think I can see:

Your ankles look like they may be rolling forward, which could be an indication that your forcing your turnout but without being able to see your knees it's hard to know.

When you tendue forwards your feet look sickled, I could be wrong here because it's hard to tell from that angle, but you need to be trying to wing them more to create a nice line.

To strengthen your ankles do lots of rises and releves onto demi-pointe rolling through the foot. Don't worry though when you are nearly ready for pointe your teacher will be giving you excercises to strengthen your ankles.

Good Luck

Hi

It is very hard to give a lot of feedback because pointe work is not just about your feet, it is about the positioning of your entire body.

One thing I can say though is when you point your right foot devant you tend to sickle. To avoid this think about your turnout, from your hips rotate your leg so that your heel is pushing up towards the ceiling.

Happy Dancing
