I also have the ballet companion by Eliza-Gaynor Minden and it is excellent as well, but both are great for different reasons. It depends on what you're after as the content is so different.

I don't know about the ballet bible, but I can definitly recommend a book called The Ballet Companion by Eliza Gaynor-Minden. It was really great and has lots of step-by-step instuctions, tips, photos of the correct position for each step, and ballet anecdotes. I loved it! Merde, and I hope you find a good guide and get where you want to be at your new school.

I was the one who wrote the email to anita about going into the advanced 1 class next year. The ballet bible helped me so much and now i am no where near as scared about going into a higher class. It has heaps of helpful advice and instead of just showing you how to do the movements, it reminds you to think about all the little things. I highly recommend buying it, it was a good investment for me and im sure it will be for you too. Best of luck, hope it all goes well for you
