Lou,
Don't worry about missing out on ballet in Spain. If you are in or near any of the large cities, there will be good dance academies. Many offer the RAD exams and there is a Spanish syllabus which covers 6 years of study. My daughter (14) has been dancing in Spain since she was 4 and we have found good academies and teachers.
Cheers,
Tess

info@bbo.org.uk is where you can contact the BBO. Tell them exactly where you will be in Spain, and I'm sure you can find out if there is a teacher at that location. If not, I assure you, there will be ballet almost anywhere in Spain, though you may do a different style.

Sounds like you are off to a grand adventure!
