Discover the Secrets to Conquering Some of The Most Common Pitfalls You Face When Learning Ballet
My Dance BagI was wondering what items you should put into you dance bag. If some people could list what they have in their dance bag that would help a lot! Thanks! 4 Comments »RSS feed for comments on this post. TrackBack URI Leave a comment |

Extra pair of clean tights and a leotard; sewing kit that includes safety pins as well as needle & thread & small scissors; warm up clothes if it’s cold; elastic stretch band; towel; foot tape; bandaids; soft shoes; pointe shoes (NOT with pads or lambs wool or anything stuffed into the toe) kept separately so they can get air; hairpins and hairnets; arnica gel if I am sore.

I also always have extra lambs wool and toe spacers (I always seem to lose one), an old pair of flats that will still work if I need them, and snacks (trail mix, dried fruit, power bars, and stuff like that). It’s also a good idea to have a first aid kit.

Small bag but lotta stuff : tights, leotard, soft and pointe shoes (+ another one if they are new) warm up clothes (both for legs and arms), the thing you put on your feet in the pointe shoes but I don’t know how you call it in english (I’m french), sewing kit, hairpins, and hairbrush (hairnets only for performances, I always destroy them), water bottle, a snack, sometimes gel for my knee, arnica, cissors, tissues.
+ a book to work during the journey
+ when I’ll go for audition, I’ve at least 4 leotards, as many tights
I’ve just landed here, I think this is quite a good blog. Gonna come here from time to time.
