I recommend using Toezees, (i think that is how you spell it) the ones i use. They are thick gel pads that are covered with fabric so you do not get blisters. My teacher told me about them and I love them! They are the pads with the little girl in the tutu on it. Good Luck with Pointe!

I think the best ones ive tried are bunheads 'ouch pouch' but Dance Direct have a good selection and are brilliant for postage. They are one of the cheapest places ive bought from and the stuff has been good quality and there extremely helpful on the phone. Visit for pointe shoe accessaries.

Bunheads brand do a really nice one that is wide enough to fit square toes like mine in! It covers the balls of your feet underneath. They're beige fabric outside filled with gel inside. They have different thickness, depending on how much you want to "feel the floor" through your point shoes. I've found them really comfya and hand wash up nicely. I brought mine online from USA, but they're a popular item in many ballet shops here in New Zealand, Australia and other countries. Leos brand sell a bright pink one also that some people prefer as the gel is a bit firmer and won't migrate like bunheads sometimes does. Its narrower fitting in the toes and has a lower u-shape if you wear a low vamped shoe. I've seen them but I haven't personally tried them yet. Happy hunting!
