some people like to be able to put their pads under their tights to reduce friction and decrease blistering. the hole in the bottom also makes it alot easier to take care of blisters and other point related problems.

Shouldn’t matter at all! As Marissa said, the hole just makes it simpler and quicker to deal with uncomfortable situations going on with either your feet or your shoes.
