How Do I Get A Nice Ankle Line

I have super tight ankles! is there any way/exercise I could do to help lossen/strengthen them so I can have a nicer ankle line?

  1. Ankle circles; also foot massage (either yourself or if you can get someone to do it!). Also get a tennis ball, and stand on it, both the ball of the foot and heel; and roll it around the bottom of your foot, that should help loosen up the muscles & tendons on the bottom of your foot.

  2. Try writing the alphabet A-E only in both lower/upper case.
    Tendu, Tendu, Tendu x a million but make sure that you make full use of the floor and the metatarsals. (don’t forget to concentrate on turnout also. rond de jambe is also a good concentration exercise for turnout :o) also check for sickling feet
    Therabands are also a wonderful tool as is picking up marbles with the toes, rolling a tennis ball under the foot, massage as previously mentioned. walking along the beach in sand (this is also good for shin splints) hope this is of some help :o)
