What do you all think of having both blog and forum?

Ive said before in some of my posts that I prefer the forum, but still keep coming back to check the blogs because some people still write on here. (And I dont want to miss anything!)
What do you think of having both on here? I find it a bit frustrating that I have to check both, and I think it would seem more streamlined if there was just the forum, and all these old posts got transferred to the forum. I have read though, that some of you dont like the forum.
Just wondering what you all think of this?

    I’m actually thinking the blog is better. The forum is harder to manage and it seems easier for people to use the blog.

    I get emails of what’s happening on the blog so I always know roughly what is happening. I don’t think the phbb software can do the same… I guess I’m just more familiar with the blog and I like being able to install plugins easily and make modifications.

    Keeping up with the orders coming in for Ballet Bible keeps me pretty busy so I don’t get much chance to visit the forum.

    Anyway… just rambling.

    I am wanting to setup a Ballet Shoes, Ballet Schools, and Ballet Videos category on the blog and start putting some good info in there and let everyone comment basically giving their review of each different shoe or school etc….. I’m just trying to find some time to actually do it.

  2. well at first i really hated the forum but now i dont mind it as much i would prefer the blog though i think every one would its so much easier to use
    the sad thing is though my computer dosent let me use the blog to ask questions any more :-[
