What is the best way to build up my foot arch?

My feet have flat arches. What can I do to build them up?

  1. Hey,

Audrey, my model on http://www.dansephoto.com trains about daily her arch.

A very simple exercise is the coke can one :

Take a coke of can, and roll your feet over it (along the round part).

Try to keep your heel on the floow, while rolling your toes on the can. With time, you will feel the difference !!

  2. You need to just use your feet a lot and activate the muscles we don’t normally use. Preferably do this barefoot. Practise walking around on your heels, and then on the balls of your feet.

Next, you’ll notice that the ball of your foot isn’t actually one piece, it’s more like two parts. Practise walking with just the heel and those one parts touching, and the other in the air.

Then, you practice walking around on just those single parts.

  3. I find rolling my feet on tennis balls helps.
( and it feels really good!)

It’s also a great way to loosen up tight foot muscles before and even after class.
